Shipping policy

COVID-19 - Unfortunately COVID-19 has put a strain on the overall shipping industry. Canada Post has been experiencing varying delays with their service. Please continue to monitor your package and be mindful that it may take longer than anticipated to be delivered. We do our best to communicate reasonable expectations with shipping, but sometimes shipping timelines are outside of our control. We will attempt to communicate any changes to you as we become aware of them. If you are experiencing delays or have questions about the status of an order, please contact us at info@blupapillon.com.
General Shipping Guidelines - We currently ship to Canada and the U.S. Lead time and shipping can vary. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Please note, changes to an address cannot be made after order of receipt. Once your order has been placed in our shipping queue, we cannot make changes to the order.
Product Pick-Up - Products that are in stock at our Blu Papillon Warehouse are available for a scheduled pickup if you live in the Toronto area. No delivery charges will apply if you choose and schedule a local pickup. To learn more, please email us at info@blupapillon.com
Shipping in Canada - All of our in stock items in our warehouse ship from Canada. Processing is approximately 1-3 business days and expected shipping timelines are 7-14 business days. Please contact support at info@blupapillon.com for any additional information or assistance.
Shipping to the U.S. - All of our in stock items in our warehouse ship from Canada. Please contact support at info@blupapillon.com for any additional information or assistance. Customers are responsible for import taxes, carrier fees, federal, state, local, customs declarations, or other taxes outside of Canada. Our customers are responsible to pay for any such taxes related to the location they live. Blu Papillon has the right to charge you for any taxes we believe are required to pay or collect that may be related to your purchase. Please allow 10-14 additional business days for delivery.
International Orders - Unfortunately we cannot ship to foreign countries other than the U.S. at this time. Blu Papillon is not responsible for any damaged pieces/products that are shipped through a forward shipping company and any initial and/or return shipping costs associated with a general return. For any questions regarding our products, please contact us at info@blupapillon.com prior to making your purchase.
Special Orders/Custom Products - Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur and are subject to change. We will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship any item(s) as they become available. Once an order is created, it is sent to the manufacturer. A cancellation cannot be processed once the manufacturer has confirmed the order.
Shipping Rates - Precise shipping rates are calculated at checkout and visible to the customer. The shipping provider, Canada Post, calculates shipping rates by weight. Canada Post’s prices are provided as a reference tool containing prices and general information to the consumer.

Damaged Product - Damage to products can occasionally occur in transit. We will replace any damaged products at no cost. It is required that you contact us at info@blupapillon.com no later than 48 hours after you receive your order to process a damage claim. Please inspect your immediately upon receipt and let us know if there are any issues. We will send you a return label so please don’t discard the packaging your item came in. If the item that is damaged is not eligible for a replacement you will receive store credit for the total order value of your item.
Wrong Product/Defective Product - Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at info@blupapillon.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Order Cancellation - Orders for stocked items cannot be cancelled once they are made. If you contact us quickly after you have placed your order, we can try to cancel it but cannot promise that the order will be cancelled.
Exchanges - Exchanges can only be made once the returned item is accepted. Once the item is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds - Once we have received and inspected your return, you will be notified if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please be aware that it can take many days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund back to you. We do our best to communicate reasonable expectations, but sometimes these timelines are outside of our control.
Price Adjustments - We will honour price adjustments up to 7 days after an order is placed if the item is on sale.
